Ebay Item Number BB Code

I need help with creating a BB Code option in Vbulletin that will allow me to enter an Ebay Item Number and it create a clickable link to the auction. Someone I know successfully did this in PHPBB and I would like to try this with Vbulletin.

Anyone willing to help me with this?

Hint: The link "http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=xxxxx" is static on Ebay. All you need to do is insert the item number in place of the "xxxxx" at the end. :)

I appreciate you trying to help me, but this does not help me at all. I already know that I can copy and paste the url into a thread, but that is not what I am trying to accomplish here. We dont want the long url's in our posts. I have seen this functionality that this other person has done with this in PHPBB using Ebay Item Numbers and it works quite nicely.

I am asking for help from anyone who knows how to accomplish this same functionality in Vbulletin.
