Hi,
I upgraded my forum from 3.6.4 to 3.6.8 just now and now one of the panels in the admin panel looks like this:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/02/6.jpg
I have re-uploaded the files but no effect.:erm:
Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this?
thanks

Are you uploading the /images directory in binary mode and all non-images files in ASCII?

Check the file ownership permissions & chmod settings on you xml dir for your xml plugin files.
@jase - Those are not images just a fyi.

I'm using filezilla and the file transfer mode is set to "auto" so I think its picking it by itself.
On a side note, up to now it has never had problems with the transfer type. So I dont know if that could be the problem.
Any thoughts?

Yes, verify what i posted in the previous post.
File xfer mode has nothing to do with whether or not its setting permissions correctly on files.

Did you check the other part of my post as well?
None of those files should be set to 777.

i think im gona go into the plugins screen and try disabling them 1 by one to see if its one of them giving me the problem
ps: what permission should be on the xml files?

directories 755 unless set to 777 for hacks that require writing to folders.
files 644
once the file permissions were checked, i did plan on telling you that you need to go thru all hacks installed and make sure they are 3.6.8 compatible or not, you will need to go thru each of your hacks to find the problem, the hack may need to be simply reinstalled.

ok this is totally weird! The panel which isnt showing up it the "vbulletin" options panel! Every other mod seems to be perfectly fine and updated...but the vboptions panel just dosent appear YET I can access it using the url for it "www.mysite.com/forum/admincp/options.php?null=0"
And in there everything is A-OK its just the small panel itself which seems to be the trouble.
Even the forum front end is working perfectly fine with all the features.
Its just the admincp which dosent load fully (the left side) because that particular panel refuses to load up...weird

woohoo its fixed!!!
I reuploaded the files once again after trying everything...and viola must have been my bad luck that a file got left or skipped on 1st file replace attempt. but 2nd time lucky :D
Problem solved!
thanks everyone who helped
