Hey folks what i am trying to do is put an image as a border around the page. I know how to do it as a color:

border-left: 5px #006600 solid;
border-right: 5px #006600 solid;
border-bottom: 10px #006600 solid;
border-top: 10px #006600 solid;

but I have not the slightest how to do it for an image. Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks

Chris

you may have to edit your templates to get what you want but, the CSS is

background:#fff url(images/misc/background.gif);

Actually that gives me a background. What I am looking for is a page border. it can be achieved in the Extra CSS Attributes for the Page background section. I can get it to do colors but not images. I have one up now that I did for the color which is a thin green line separating the page from the background. It can be seen at http://holdemfreaks.com

ok, first, border properties in css properties cant have images in them ( http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_border.asp)
they can be colors/styled... so its not just a extra css attribute.

that said, you can add a image to the background, as above mentioned and use values repeat /position to style, but that would only work for one side of the element, in this case for example .page could have a image just running down the left side. if "background-repeat: repeat-y"

this does not make a border on all four sides,
to do this you can build a "box" around.
the simple way with just a solid image, is a box containing yr .page div

best to grab your source for the main page, and add this in html editor, and preview to see.
<div style="padding:10px 10px 10px 10px; width:880px; background-image:url(http://holdemfreaks.com/easyaction/statusicon/forum_new.gif)">
<div class="page" style="width:880px; text-align:left">
(in templates, gets complicated, see spacer open, spacer close)
more complicated is adding images to all sides, but doing searches on css will guide
