Blizzard Citadel
My site has a great look, a great domain and even has a little traffic. It used to be very active in the past so it has some topics / posts, but then I took it down for 3 months and it's been almost dead since I brought it back up. Furthermore, only two results are received if you search "http://blizzard.cd" on Google ( Although I'm in the top place if you search for "Blizzard Citadel" ).
Would vBSEO help my site gain traffic or should I wait with it until my is more active?
Thanks.

Are you sure it wont help? There are a lot of threads and posts that need to be indexed.

If a page is indexed or not is not really influenced by any SEO solution.

Alright, but on the scale 1 - 10, how much would vBSEO help me to get visitors via search engines in its current state? I have the money for it and I would like to buy it if it gets me visitors that way.

vBSEO itself: none (not everyone will agree)
With a lot of effort from your side: more
(and vBSEO or another SEO can make your own work a bit easier according to some, but not needed)

well..
you know you just broke copyright infringements with that domain..
if you started to go big with it.. blizzard can hit you with a lawsuit..
just saying -_-
+ if you want hits, have a purpose for your forum
Like my forum has WoW bots.. people go to it for them ..

That's law breaking :p. How could Blizzard do that? "Blizzard" is a word in the dictionary. "Blizzardentertainment" dot something would be whole another thing, but what do I know.
Anyway I bought vBSEO and google bot "raided" my site ( 60 guests all of a sudden, usually 2-3 ) and I'm pretty happy.

I don't think so.
It takes a good few months for vBSEO to even start showing it's rewards.
It will go on for a long time, no matter what vBSEO do, people will always disagree that it doesn 't work.

vbSEO will help you once you start getting indexed but right now, probably not much.
Your best bet is to try to get more links from other quality sites.
Good looking site, the banner might be a bit tall.

Once you bring a site up it takes a while before Google sends the horde, and even a bit longer before yahoo will send theirs.
bBSEO wouldn't cause the bots to appear suddenly, it is just that google finally got around to it...

How long once you bring a site up for it to get noticed?

You can submit your URL to most SE's for spidering, check their homepage.

No, I had it for over a year and didn't really see an improvement. I went to uninstall the the other day and now my site is down.
One thing I had issue with was the software is very hairy and invasive to your site. I had to have them help me even though I had followed the directions that came with it. Turns out there were a lot of tweaks that had to be done.
I think they did a good job including a lot of features in the software though, but it is not for everyone.

If you have the money, then I say go for it. Every little helps, and I always believe in trying a product for myself, that way I can make my own decision on whether it works or not.

With vbseo I notice a dramatic increase with spiders and I mean dramatic but thats about it. What gets you high rankings is good keywords, a good
tag and quality backlinks.
I bet if you wanted to open up a forum on games and you named your site www.gameforum.com you would definately have a good chance on being on the first or second page of google under keyword game forum...
