You could try https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=105160 or search for some other such modification. Note that the linked modification may or may not work on a newer version of vB so you'd need to test it.

I wouldn't second guess a moderator...their knowledge of vB is literally rather scary :p

But in answer to your question, No. I don't think it is possible.
