No, you will not be able to know if the board is licensed or not.

Nulled boards tend to remove the copyright notice at the bottom, but that in itself doesn't prove it's pirated. They could have just purchased the branding free option.

Another way:
Find the forum directory of the site you feel is pirated, then add:

/clientscript/vbulletin_global.js

Sometime you will see there a pirate notice.

You can not determine if a board has a license or not. Only Jelsoft Support staff can look into that.

If in doubt just report it, and it will be handled. You are never informed of the outcome as we consider this private information.
