Moving site : question

Hi,

I am moving my website from one domain to another. The older site is running vB version3.6.4 and the new one has been setup (currently empty) with version 3.6.8

My Question is, do I need to upgrade my old site to 3.6.8 first before I attempt to restore the database on the new website?

Overwrite your new database (was no use in creating it) and run the upgrade scripts.
