I am hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

I am looking for a shoutbox for my v3.6.8 forum. Help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Well there's many and all of them good...
So just type 'SHOUTBOX' in the search field and you'll be able to find the one that suits you better...
