Prefix for Forum Status Images

Hi,
How do i use this Prefix for Forum Status Images option ?
i wanted a different icon for diff cat in the forum .

pls guide.
i did my search but nothing answer the questions.
is there any vb3.7 series manual to download ?

Prefix for Forum Status Images (This prefix will be used on status image filenames for a forum, it must contain A-Z, 0-9, -, _, . and /)

Forum Status images are usually shown alongside the forum in a forum listings to indicate the read status.

This prefix must only contain alphanumerical characters, though the following are also allowed - _ / ., a folder name is also acceptable to be placed within the status icon directory.

what do i enter in the box if i wanted as this example

forum : chatter box
icon location: images/statusicon/chat/chat_old.gif, chat_new, chat_lock, etc

The following images are currently in use for status icons, you will need to create images with the specified prefix to match.

* forum_link.gif
* forum_new.gif
* forum_new_lock.gif
* forum_old.gif
* forum_old_lock.gif

what is the format to enter in the selection box?

what i would like to achieve is to have diff icon images for diff forum.
i hope i am doing the correct steps.:o
