I had to buy a Domain though Network Soultions since they had it locked down and HostGator couldn't let me purchase it.

My question is how long will it take the transfer to go though. Im still waiting on HostGators support to get back with me with no luck so far...

Yes, transferring a domain away is all up to the losing registrar to be timely or be a d|ck head about it, as i said, legally its 7 days.

Ending up having to wait 60 days before a transfer. I just fowarded my ports to redirect to my test domain..

What is their claim to making you wait 60 days to transfer this domain away?

I honestly don't know. Its though Network Solutions. I must have it registered 60 days before a transfer she told me...Its stupid if you ask me. I paid for it, you would think I could do whatever I wanted to with it.

If you just registered it, then they have the right under icann policy to not allow a transfer, unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it except to wait out the 60 days, this is a know scam by network solutions.

Really all you need to do is login to your account over there and set you dns servers to your hosts, just make sure to start the transfer process as soon as the 60 days is up.

Unfortunately i mis-read your first post.
