Hi I have been recieving db errors randomly from my board and all come down to this error

MySQL Error : Disk is full writing '/tmp/#sql_ba5_10.MYI' (Errcode: 28). Waiting for someone to free space... Retry in 60 secs

I am on shared hosting, I assume my tmp folder is filling or filled up what files if any can i delete from tmp? and are cpanel.TMP files needed?

Send in a ticket to your host with that error.

well that is another story lol

If any of you use webhostingtalk search vistapages bad attitude, I am in the process of looking for a new host and have a few in mind when the funds can support it. I am going to have to cut my losses by the look and loose about 7 months hosting money pre-paid.

is there not anything i can do from my end about this? just as a temp fix even while I get the money to move

Your host is oversold, and are running out of disk space. There is nothing you can do.

cheers dismounted,

Nothing surprises me from these guys, I have read some real horror stories about them. Looks like we will just have to struggle on till I can afford to move
