hi,

first of all I need to say that I bought the vbulletin lease license yesterday night for 85 dollars.

I got all account details in 5 minutes, I immediately downloaded the vb and asked for help in the forum.

I got less help so I thought I will ask today and I got up in the morning to see the thread locked wot to do.

the owner's email is there by default.

the email address1, 2 and 3 are empty.

wot email to give.

how to be licensed.
after I fill up email address1 I will become licensed.:confused:

this is very confusing.

I also have vb license number, should I enter that.:confused:

If you add your e-mail to one of those 3 spaces provided, the e-mail you used when you purchases vB you should show up licensed on vB.org.

The only way to have yourself licensed is to follow the instructions I posted. Make sure you read it carefully.

Sending your details to me does nothing. Administrators, Senior Moderators, and Moderators all cannot access any license details. Even the vBulletin.org script that checks if you're licensed doesn't get any details apart from the emails on a priority support list, and even then, it cannot be distinguished from license to license. The only way to get licensed is to follow the instructions above.

Here are a few things to take note of:
1. Make sure the email address you enter on the page (Priority Support Page (http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php)) is the one you registered on vBulletin.org with.
2. Make sure you opt-in vBulletin.org in that page as well. Check the box that says vBulletin.org.

Please pay attention to replies to your question. I CAN'T do anything to make you licensed. There is NO "activation id", unless you're taking about the email verification process.

sorry for all trouble.

I will tell you wot I did.

first I bought vb
leased version
then I logged in with my forum id
then entered customer number password

then downloaded vb

then went to support forum to ask help.
they said I am unlicensed and locked thread.

I entered my email in email id
I got activation code.

I entered it thento I look unlicensed.

have I done something wrong.

Again, you're not reading. You need to link your vBulletin.com account with your vBulletin.org account.

This is done by "following instructions" and going to your Priority Forum Support page in your vBulletin.com Member's Area, and setting your email and permission for vBulletin.org to access the information.

You can ask for support on filling out your config.php file directly from the members area of vBulletin.
