how can i hide member name after welcome word

some members don't like to have their name appear on top of the forum after welcome word

is there away to have an option so member can choose either appear or not ?

or the only solution is to change in the templates ?

Are you talking about their name appearing in the upper right corner of the forum where it also tells you if you have any private messages?
