2 problems, 1 isn't specific to the vba part...

1. Always loading on the vBa module. I did step 3 of the modification and cleared my browser cache. (Edit: Fixed, had to add some code for pages that aren't at www.mysite.com)

2. "Align usernames and chats" is not working. it's just overflowing from one line to the next. (Edit: I added a temporary fix, but if you have any ideas...)

On VB 3.7.4 and VBA 3.1.0, cb evo 1.1, vba mod 1.7

I think there's a fix for the alignment on the main plugin.

Do yourself a favor, the amount of time from your first post to now, you could have read the 3 lines about 60,000,000,000 times. If you can't take 10 seconds, why should I? ;)

Like I said. 3rd line.

This module shows MGC Chatbox Evo on vBadvanced CMPS
v3.0.1
MGC Chatbox Evo found here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=168992) ..

You'll ask someone else? LOL. Nobody else is helping you atm cupcake. ;)

Um, dude, if you can't read 3rd line from the top, you might want to stop messing with a computer. ;)

It clearly has a link at the very beginning of this plugin which is on the 3rd line. If you can't find that. Lay off the drugs. I also gave you the link again in my previous post.

I clearly assume you have no idea of what you are doing, and are new to vbulletin. Add-on's (the category you are in) is not a plugin. With that being said, you need a plugin/product first and then THIS item here complements that.

So go back, re-read my last post, follow that link like I told you to do, install the product, then once it's working, you install vBa CMPS, and then this module.

you keep putting the same link in these posts...but i dont know what to do with it...and you keep saying "third line down"..dude...WHAT??....third line down from what...the top of the page?? The beginning of the code??

For the 3rd time, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=1684232&postcount=257 goto that post, click the link. INSTALL THE PRODUCT. Then install the module here.

If you can't do that, stop asking for help. It doesn't get any clearer.

If you could follow directions, why have you not done so then? ;)

I told you 5 times, follow the link, install the product, then install this module.

If you followed the link, you'd find the mgc product. With that, you would download the product and open the zip. Within that zip (like EVERY product) is a readme/install file. If you followed that, the product would be installed and then you could add the cpms module here.

look man....im not trying to start no war...all im saying is that when i open the readme file..i dont understand where i install the files...theres like one you put on ur server..which i did...then theres one you upload in ur admincp...which i did...

then .. heres where i get lost... I dont know what to do next...

Im not at home at the moment...so i cant say 'exactly' where i get stuck..but that about sums it up...

4/ Go in your admincp, in the Language manager > Download/Upload language file and then :
- Select the language file from the "Lang" directory
- Select the forum language to overwrite
- Set the ignore language verison to Yes
- Launch upload <----what does that mean??

Just means continue on to the next step by clicking the submit button, or whatever text it has. After you Submit that info, it will be installed (still needing config in admincp).

As for my problems, I've figured out that this code seems to be having trouble with IE. I double-checked to make sure that I have scripting enabled, but no text shows up where posts ought to be. The Archive page works just fine regardless of browser. Firefox and Google Chrome seem to be fine. Attaching some screenshots... not that you can't figure out what I'm saying...

You might have either permissions errors, be doing something wrong, or whatnot. You are new to this, so you might be overlooking something.

Hit me up on Aim: Rang3r187 or Yahoo: Rang3r_187 and I'll walk you through it.

I attempted to hack my way around and make it work and finally - much to the frustation of my few users - removed the chat fom my CMPS page.

Is an update for vbAdvanced needed to make it work? Or, did I screw something up (again)

Thanks!

Not that I know of. But check the main MGC Chat thread located on the top of the plugin here. Sometimes it has to do with mod_security, sometimes just user error. Typically, it's mod_security, var security token, or incorrect config that chat doesn't work.

Would the fact that I can view source on working pages and the appropriate JavaScript is there but viewing source of the VbAdvanced page doesn't appear to have it point me in the right direction? (The long list of variables and such are absent but the chatbox appears without the branding and the channel name and of course loading..)

Makes me think there's a file not being overwritten or something...

Sounds like a config error? Like the paths aren't set or something. If you are using the NEWEST vbadvanced, that might also be a problem.

I've got it working by specifying the full path to my clientscript folder within functions_mgc_cb_evo.php ( $mgc_cb_evo_js_script = '<script type="text/javascript" src="***path here **/clientscript/mgc_cb_evo/mgc_cb_evo_header.js"></script>';

I've noticed the mini avatars aren't showing in vbadvanced either but I can chase that down later....

Does the clientscript folder issue for vbadvanced indicate anything I should go 'fix'?

What does everyone think about it showing on top of the columns ??
Under the navbar...

I usually keep the shoutbox close to the top on my home page. Normally I display it in the middle right bellow the user CP module.

So, I don't see a major problem with it at the top.

Might make a nifty option...

In the meantime, I've stumbled on to a small error in IE7 that might not be related but if you saw an error that read:

Line: 2
Char: 20180
Error: 'statuses' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http:// my idiotic forum...

where would you peek for the problem?

(and please don't say "between the monitor and the chair" as I am in such a fragile state!)

Thanks!

Awesome. Thanks so much for this. And my condolences for your loss.

This is odd. Only does this on one of the sites I run.

MGC Chat 2.1.0 / CPMS 3.0.1 / VB 3.8.0 B4

Loading issue fix step 3 doesn't correct it.

CPMS = www.example.com (http://www.example.com)
Forums = www.example.com/forums (http://www.example.com/forums)

I just reinstalled Server 2008 so don't have FF to see the errors and IE only says error, object expected off the CPMS link, not the Forums...

gothicuser

I followed the install instructions to the letter, didn't work.
I then experimented with something from one of my other forums using the vBCMS portal, and used the following in 'Global variables of the chatbox'
Replaced all
require_once(DIR . '/includes/functions_mgc_cb_evo.php');

mgc_cb_evo_unserialize_user_params();

if (THIS_SCRIPT == $script OR SCRIPTGLOBAL == $script)
{
$mgc_cb_evo_floc = $forumpath . '/';
}
else
{
$mgc_cb_evo_floc = '';
}
That worked.

Has anyone seen an issue where the chatbox is displayed twice on the vBAdvanced page? I've followed the instructions. Even performed the "step 3" above. I have a functioning chat box, with another right below it that does nothing except "remote control" the top one.

.

carcomp

NEVERMIND. Duh I had it set to display on all pages.

carcomp
01-05-2009, 05:21 PM
What do I need to do so that Unregistered users can see the chat on vba? I've got it so that I can see it when I'm logged in, and I'm sure i've got the permissions set for unregged users to view and use the chatbox (i've tried it). I can see it (the chatbox) on the main forum, but not on the vba. It just disappears when I logout.

See my forum: http://www.quad4forums.com

If you aren't logged in, you should see the chat right above the picture of the car.

venohm
01-06-2009, 01:44 AM
OK, so it seems to work with the newest version if you have the vba and forums in the same directory, but if, like me, you have www.domain.com as your vba and www.domain.com/forums/ as your forums directory, then it doesn't work, even with the fix above.

That's as far as I have gotten.

Cheers,

gentz

Gentz,

Which version of MGC Chatbox Evo do you have installed?

jazde86
01-10-2009, 12:54 PM
If I upload the xml as an module, nothing happens there - no module were added to CMPS. I use the new MGC Chatbox Evo 2.1.0 and vBa CMPS 3.1.0

venohm
01-10-2009, 02:09 PM
Did you upload the xml file through the Admincp >> vBa CMPS >> Download / Upload Module?

You then have to activate the module as well as tell it where to display and display order.

Also, if you have your CMPS in a different directory than your forums software, you may have problems as well as there seem to be some compatibility issues with the newest version of MGC Chatbox Evo. The author has stated a new version is in the works.

jazde86
01-10-2009, 02:19 PM
I uploaded the xml file as described in the installation file, but there is no new module in my vBa CMPS AdminCP. Which name has the module in vBa AdminCP after upload?

venohm
01-10-2009, 04:04 PM
The module should be called [MGC Chatbox Evo 1.7] after installed.

I can see it in my AdminCP->vBa CMPS->Edit Modules.

Though I currently have it not displaying due to the Loading error with the forum being in a different channel with the new version of MGC Chatbox Evo.

jazde86
01-10-2009, 07:56 PM
Hmm, did not work here, there is no new module. :(

venohm
01-11-2009, 12:30 AM
To get the module to display on the vBa home page, go to
AdminCP->vBa CMPS->Edit Pages

Edit Homepage.

If the module is listed in Inactive modules, you have to move it to a column and choose the display order.

Jazde86, if the module is not showing up, you will have to go back through the upload process is the only thing I can think of.

Admincp >> vBa CMPS >> Download / Upload Module

robbiefritz
01-11-2009, 12:35 AM
the module is showing up in the center column :(

Just not visible on the page.

Update: I have the free version of the CB does this have an impact?

Also where does one set the global variable as mentioned above?

venohm
01-11-2009, 03:00 AM
The global variables are in

Admincp >> Plugins & Products >> Plugin Manager >> Global variables of the chatbox

Does the module show the loading on the vBa?

Giray

Hi, before upgrading Chatbox Evo to 2.1.0, I just want to know if anyone has MGC Chatbox Evo for vBadvanced CMPS Version: 1.7 working with vBulletin 3.8.0?

jazde86
01-11-2009, 09:48 AM
Jazde86, if the module is not showing up, you will have to go back through the upload process is the only thing I can think of.

Admincp >> vBa CMPS >> Download / Upload ModuleI upload the xml via AdminCP, the xml is now in the modules directory on the FTP, but after the rebuild of the styles I only can click Back and then there is no new module. *argh* Don't know what is wrong with my installation.

The module is loaded when I edit my home page if that is what you mean. I have it set as center with a display order of "1".

I also made the global variable change and still no CB on the home page.

I even went through and found a couple of other locations that had a clientscript reference and changed them.

clientscript/mgc_cb_evo/mgc_cb_evo_functions.js

and

template: adv_portal_mgc_cb_evo_box

Still loads fine on the forums, but not with the vBa page.

I think, You need edit correct file.
Try this again.

OK, sorry, looks like I may have made a typo on one of the /forums/ Went back and replaced them all again and it is working this time.

Last thing I need is the Mini Avatars. Only get the word Avatar without the actual avatar in the shoutbox.

But the shoutbox is there. Thanks so much rainyleaves

I think, You didn't upload image files.
You can find 'Images' folder in your MGC chabox evo package.
And you need upload 'mgc_cb_evo' folder in Images/misc/mgc_cb_evo.
You must upload just only 'mgc_cb_evo' folder.

Like this path,

Sorry my English. :)

The Mini avatars work on the forums page, but on the main vBa page, I just get the word Avatar in their place.

Got the custom uploaded avatars working by editing includes/functions_mgc_cb_evo.php
image.php (2)
replace with /forums/image.php

also replaced images with /forums/images/ but still getting an error about /images in my log file on avatars that are not custom.

So still digging around to find that.

I am having the problem where only the alt text shows up for the icons around the chat box.

I have renamed my cmp_index to just index and that is in the same folder as my forum files.

I've tried as much as I could in this thread but so far all i've tried has not worked.

I am running VB version 3.8.1; VBA 3.1.0; MGC Chatbox 2.1.0.

Can anyone help me?

[EDIT]
Problem solved.

Thanks again,

I have a problem with this module not expanding or shrinking to fit the column size for different sized monitors. It seems to lock all the modules in the center column so that the modules on the right column are cut off.

Any way to make this dynamic?

Wasting lots of hours... You should not release any hack until you throughly test it.

Any hack is appreciated for the time and work from the coder, but when this work is useless to most of the people, that becomes waste of time and frustration.

So if you have a messed-up forum with all files, cmps, hacks, images and crap within /forum/ folder, this hack may work.

But if you have it a bit organized and your cmps is outside forum, than forget it!
The "coder" of this release acknowledges in one of the posts that he "will have to look into if your cmps is outside forum folder" but nevermind... in a year or two, it will be fixed.

Fortunately, other coder placed some info on changing some scripts, php's and templates to reflect your organized forum, but unfortunately the info is not working 100%.

However, this is a waste of time and frustration!

3.8 with chat 2.x with cpms 3.x works with this module.

There are 22 pages for a reason. People found the way. Do you expect every developer to update stuff instantly? Be realistic. We all have lives. Either go through the past few recent pages and find the answer, or don't. If your chat works outside of this module you didn't follow instructions. If your chat doesn't work without this and vBadvanced installed, it has nothing to do with this. It's the chat. Which means you probably installed that wrong.

Your lack of details are why you probably get crap support.

Hold your horses bro, don't kill me! Try to be more flexible, not everyone is talented as yourself.
Version 2 of the ChatBox is out from quite some time, so nobody expect an instant update, but after a month or so you would expect to see some update or notes, or is it unrealistic especially when that pice of s/w is posted as "supported"?

"3.8 with chat 2.x with cpms 3.x works with this module." If you look above, the developer replied that the hack it was made for version 1 and not 2. I have read all posts and there is contradictory information and that is the problem! I did followed the mods to the letter and did not worked for me. Moreover, I had to fix my db because it did screw up something. Most likely that there are some details that are missing and people with less familiarity, don't know all the tricks.
So bottom line in this case: it is NOT the lack of info provided by the poster but it is the lack of info provided by the developer. And most likely, that it is not to be condemned too because when many hacks are released, somehow the developer expect the same type of knowledge from all users, which is not the case.

So Ranger187, I would kindly suggest this: why not write a guide on how to make it work with version 2.x under vb3.8.x and perhaps the developer will include it in the first post/release?

Ranger187
02-15-2009, 05:19 PM
Keep in mind, this is an add-on. He's not the developer to the chat itself. So unless he subscribes to VBDev's MGC thread, he won't know. Also during the 1.x to 2.x transition, VB 3.7 to 3.8 and 4.0alpha are around. Takes time to update. And sometimes DEV's hold off cuz a new release is just about out which could make the change fail..

If you had to fix DB issues, it wasn't from the chat or this. They generally never are, unless you start running queries, OR you don't uninstall stuff like the readme says. Which is HIGHLY the case with the chat.

If you think this thread is contradictory, goto the chat thread. 250+ pages. Hehe.
And honestly, I would, but I get nothing outta it. I know how to install/troubleshoot it. I do all the support for the actual chat. I've installed it on about 200 forums. I got nothing. No donations. And it's not my product. ;)

There's going to be another chat version out 2.2.1 just came out. There are too many variables. And I hade coding to begin with. ;)

Not to mention, I work about 15+ hours a day on servers. So when I get free time....LOL...

My advice though....

Bottom line:
1. It's your fault for not doing a database backup prior to doing any changes. If it's not common practice for you, make it so. If you didn't know to do that.. Now ya do. Takes a few seconds to do a full db backup. Lose 30 days of posts due to a bad plugin or template edit or whatever, and you won't argue #1 ever. I wrote a script that does this automatically every 3 days. ;)

2. If you have errors, give as much detail as you can. Sometimes if you are using FireFox, open up error console. That might show.

If you want, hit me up on AIM/Yahoo or PM me a s/n and I'll try to help you. What would take you a long time, takes me minutes to do.

For those of you who are unable to get the chatbox to "load" on integration....
I had to edit the clientscripts/mgc_cb_evo_functions.js file and change all calls to mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php.

I deleted the jsloc+' part and simply put './mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php' in the quotes.
or if your forum is in forum then:
'./forum/mgc_cb_evo_ajax.php'

load the scipt in a GOOD editor - not notepad - wordpad is ok.
I think there was 16-18 occurances so do a well crafted find & replace.

How did I figure this out?

Loading Fiddler2 and watching what my site loads, I saw my site attempt to load the ajx script from

Hi,

Just for a test, to see what I could change in the next version of the Evo chatbox (as it's not an issue on stangger5 side), try to do the following.

Edit the plugin of the chatbox named "Global variables of the chatbox", replace its content by :

require_once(DIR . '/includes/functions_mgc_cb_evo.php');

mgc_cb_evo_unserialize_user_params();

if (THIS_SCRIPT == 'adv_index' && !empty($forumpath))
{
$mgc_cb_evo_floc = './directory_in_which_your_forum_is/';
}
else
{
$mgc_cb_evo_floc = './';
}
Don't forget to replace directory_in_which_your_forum_is by your directory :)

If this fixes it I will add an option in the next coming release of the chatbox to let you set that directory within chatbox options.

it will look like:

Ok, put the clientscript back to normal and edited the global. For where you put your own personal directory info, what file does that have to point to? My forum is located in www.mysite.com/forum/ is that what needs to be there? If so, it still doesn't work.

Oh yeah, where it talks about adding the sercurity token "0" in the 1.0, does that need to be done for 3.8.1? Or is 3.8.1 one of the good versions?

Hey,

Thanks for the module m8!
I have a question though.

Once I activate the "Module Wrapper" option, the layout of my front is all streched.
In the options, when wanting to enable the "Module Wrapper":
"Please note that the options are only applicable if the 'Use Module Wrapper Template' option below is set to 'Yes'. Also note that all templates should use the following format if this setting is enabled:

<tr>
<td class="$bgclass"> <!-- Your code here --> </td>
</tr>"

Anoce I add this, it still does not work. I have to disable the module wrapper, which implifies I do not have a nice header on the chat.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

::edit::
Forgot to mention, we are using MGC 2.2.1

If your cmps_index.php is outside of the forum directory, try this.

You may need change /forums/ to /forum/ If your forum folder's name is 'forum'.
Don't use '$vboptions[bburl]' instead of /forums/.

Where is this even referring to? Which file?

Brief outline of environment:
vBulletin 3.8.3, vBAdvanced 3.2.0, MGC Chat 2.3.2 and this add-on.
Both vBulletin and vBAdvanced are installed to root.

I have used MGC Chat on vB and vBA for a long time without any issue.
Currently the chatbox works flawlessly on any page OTHER than vBA where it simply refuses to display!
I have tried all the fixes listed in previous posts, I have tried doing a totally clean install (of naked vBulletin and vBAdvanced, no other mods/add-ons) without any success. I am coming to the end of my tether.
Am I missing something?
Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

I have the same environment as gothicuser above me. I don't know if my issue is the same as his, but it sounds similar.

I cannot show the VBA module on any page that MGC Chatbox Evo has a built-in insert code for:
Position of the chatbox on the forum home (forumhome)
Position of the chatbox in the forums (forumdisplay)
Position of the chatbox in the threads

I have to use the above built-in options to make the box appear on those pages, and since it's using the built-in function, and not VBA, I can't move it where I want.

I just completed reading all 25 pages of this thread and I am in the same situation as gothicuser.
Works as advertised in Forumhome, etc. But not in VBA. When I turn it on in VbA I see the center blocks lower themselves slightly as if it's inserting a block, but nothing shows whatsoever.
My cmps_index.php file is simply renamed "index.php" and it's the ONLY file in the root directory. All other files are inside /forums/

I'd be glad to give you admin rights to fix this Sangger5?

Ok, I read thru everything and I havent been able to fix my problems. I was able to fix a couple but not the following.

1) The Loading... is staying unchanged on my homepages, but works fine on others.

2) The buttons on the chatboxes below also have a link issue. Its not including the /forums/ in the url.

Dont work below
Homepage (http://www.guildcommand.com)
Alt Homepage (http://www.guildcommand.com/index.php?pageid=mit)

Works fine below
Forums (http://www.guildcommand.com/forums/index.php)
also works with my forumdispalys (http://www.guildcommand.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2)

Thanks for the great mod!

I've taken the pop out url and made it a link in my main cms navigation area so that users can go right to the chatrooms (I found it a little too much having it on all the chat pages, to be honest but ... to each their own!)

Anyway, why I'm writing is this - the chatroom name images are not appearing for me despite the fact that the path I'm seeing when I check the properties of the image, is correct.

Alternatively, it's adding a _nosel.gif to the end of each image. Perhaps I over looked something?

My vbadvanced is on the same level as my forums and the chat (not sure if that information makes a difference or not) and I did a fresh install as I'm a new user as of yesterday. I'm using version 3.8.4 of vbulletin (if that also helps you) and I've installed the images on both of the following paths in an attempt to make them show up -

{path to vbulletin}/images/misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels
{path to vbulletin}/images/{Theme Name}/misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels

Any ideas on why my images aren't showing up?

Thanks so much for your time and effort - you ARE appreciated!

Well heres the problem, there was major changes from 2.3.2 and 2.4.2 notably in that there is no longer a functions_mgc_blahblah.php file, they are all broken down into classes. So basically all the function calls need to be re-referenced using the new class functions. I'm trying to nail down which function calls translate to what, but I think I might've run into an issue with the display.

Ranger187, if you have it working, could you post up what you did to get it to work?

I posted a suggestion but it seems the moderator (who did a poor job) decided to remove entire posts which had no slander or name calling, instead of just cleaning up what they "thought was inappropriate".

But like I stated before, if you edit the XML file and replace the functions items with the newly named ones, then try and import, that might work. And I suggest prior to any *testing* you do backups.

I do know VBDev plans on helping Stang update this addon shortly though, so I'd just sit tight.

I'm having a problem, i'm still getting the "Loading..." even tho i used that one post and made the changes... :(

This error is almost always a path error in the scripts, plug-ins and templates. There are lots of areas using relative paths ("images/misc/etc.gif") that I had to change to use absolute paths ("/images/misc/etc.gif") to get things to work with vbadvanced, since I don't have it installed to my forum's root folder. If I can find all the places I edited, I may post a comprehensive list of all edit points for those of you still stuck. I'll run a text compare tool when I get the chance and post up my changes. It'll take a while due to all the changes, and each site's changes may be different depending on your configuration.

If you have any problems with it just saying Loading,,do step three..
3:
Adminc >> Plugins & Products >> Plugin Manager >> Global variables of the chatbox

Put this:
Code:

$forumpath = $vbulletin->options[bburl];

before:

Code:

if (THIS_SCRIPT == 'adv_index' && !empty($forumpath))
{
$mgc_cb_evo_floc = $forumpath . '/';
}
else
{
$mgc_cb_evo_floc = '';
}

it does not work :(

Then use the 2.4.2 vbcmps module from a few posts back. You also need to modify the .js files with the direct path to your server.

for those not gettin this module to work, make sure all settings are correctly entered!

I had a whitespace in this setting causing the chatbox not to be shown..:

in my case it should have been "index,adv_index" (no spaces, no carriagereturns - only the scriptnames and the commasign...)

Arghhhh
:D

My vba is outside of the forum root
VB 3.8.2
Using vBadvanced CMPS v3.1.0.
MGC Chatbox Evo 2.4.2

Well i did bunch of things trying to make it work within vba module and didnt menage it, so my solution was:

1.Step one as stangger5 explained
Admincp >> MGC Chatbox Evo>> Display and position >>
Display on defined pages in a variable set to Yes..
and in the Other pages list,, put adv_index in that box...

2.Than to upload on one more instance (within my vba root) "clientscript" folder and to edit "mgc_cb_evo_functions.js" (this uploaded one) adding /forums .... and it seems to work without any problem, still testing it :)

My knowledge about VB an VBA is just basic and what I wanted to ask is will everything work just fine in this way?

Not my idea to do it in this way, was reading a bit around and only this helped me out

Cheers

ps
Would love to see it working within vba module, but :(

It has a Vba Module but not for version 4, i have written this instruction for people who wants to make it works on their Vba

If you want to put your chat box in main page on Vba You should follow these :

1) Go to ACP/MGC Chatbox Evo/Display And Position

Find these options
Position of the chatbox on the forum home (forumhome)
Position of the chatbox in the forums (forumdisplay)
Position of the chatbox in the threads

Make them: Do Not Display

Find
Display the chatbox on defined pages in a variable

and select Yes

List of the other forum pages

And put this in text area : adv_portal (if it doesn't work put : adv_index )

Then find [vB4.X.X] List of the templates where the global var is used and put this into text area : adv_portal_shout

Save this setting

2) Go to ACP/vBa CMPS/Add Module
Select [Template Module]
Fill title field what ever you want
in Template to include type shout ( you will see this then : adv_portal_shout(you fill this)
Select your desired template
And Paste this {vb:raw mgc_cb_evo_var} to the Template Content

Set Use Module Wrapper Template to "No"

Set your desired Permissions and Save it. Then add this module to your desired page, which i have added to home page.

It's Finished Enjoy it.
If you Have any issue please feel free to contact me about it

i got an error and im not sure where i went wrong

i followed these steps:

Fresh install without chats importing
Follow the following install instructions:
Upload the content of the Files folder in your forum root.
Upload the content of the Images in each of your forum styles directories.
Log into the admin control panel of your forum and import the product located in the Product folder.
Go in the Download/Upload item of the Language manager menu and then:
Select the English language file from the Lang folder.
Select the forum language to overwrite.
Set the Ignore language version option to YES.
Launch the upload.
Installation is finished, you just have to set the permissions of your usergroups so that they can see the chatbox, configure the chatbox settings, manage the available commands and if necessary add channels.

and i got this error message:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function can_view_mgc_cb_evo() in /home/constant/public_html/forums/modules/mgc_cb_evo.php on line 3"

any suggestions? ty!

Could this work on vBaDynamics, as that's outside of the forum root, and also uses modules?
