Why cant i use HTML code in my emails in admincp?

help guys i am running 3.7 beta 4 and am having trouble using html within the email's sent out to memebers within the admincp... all I really want is simple bold underline and italics but images would be nice too! help please.

Help guys... I cant figure out why html code does not work within the email sender in admincp. I have tried it a couple times but it just displays the code on the reciepient's side. Is this something that has to do with my server or is these something i must do within vb admincp?
