If you suspect a site to be running without a license, then please report it to the link provided in post#2.

It doesn't do much though to report them, I reported a few a while back and there still up and running.

All reports are handled. If a site is not taken down then this can have many reasons. They could be licensed as you have no way to check a license status yourself, they could have purchased a license, their host is not so fast in handling piracy, etc..

We do not have a magic switch to turn off websites hosted somewhere in the world.

That would be nice, either that or make the script not work on that website somehow.

Or how about a verification script that puts something on the bottom of the site saying it's legal or not.

any person who utilise an illegal script will have a "nullified", so you can imagine that the hacker who is nulling this script will also deactivate that verification...
