hum, actually, i would drop the recruiting text in your request, this is against the rules...
and for a grafix website, i would recommand you create your own style instead of using a pre-made one... that style is advertising the coder's website, not yours... and it does not show your talent as a designer.

I am working on a custom style for 3.7 on a test site once it goes gold I will upgrade my site and release it. Waste of time to code one for 3.6 and 3.7 in my opinion when I am going to just upgrade Besides that a lot of gfx websites use premade skins for the first few months or so anyway while they spend time getting member base, advertising creating tutorials finding resources and much more once I have accomplished that and vb goes gold then I will finish my skin right now I am busy trying to get suggestions and members. please base your review on more then the skin next time like maybe recommending mods or some changes that might help me out in my future growth.
Thanks,
~Evolution

Thanks, I like the skin also, It was buy 1 get 1 at vbskinworks and I was getting the raidarena skin for a worldofwarcraft clan site I had running (shut it down to do this site) so I figured this one would do for my gfx site for now till I get on my feet. But that did not help me either lol.

Too many areas for a newly created board. You'll probably find that creating fewer forums and packing them with beneficial content will eliminate the bareness of empty looking forums.
Apart from that, find some post icons to compliment the black background that they are placed upon. You may also want to change the default sub forum icons for something suitable and complimenting too the theme of the style.

Awesome I think I might just start working on a simple skin (custom) cause I am not sure how much I am aloud to customize this skin really since it was purchased. So pretty much thats the way vbskinworks designed it. I have a mind set for a different style.. I hope it will turn out worthy enough.

You are permitted to change pretty much anything you wish ;)

It a good skin, but I would expect a gfx forum to have an amazing custom skin.

Too many stripes
Too dark
Colour doesnt give enough definition between the content and background.
Last post buttons look out of place.
Shoutbox would probably look better just on the front page, i personally dont like shoutbox's at all.
The red colour of the last post, thread etc in the forumdisplay is too vibrant.
I personally think if your starting a GFX forum you have to have a skin that will wow people to succeed, and im afriad yours doesnt really.

well this is my first custom design. I am probably just going to shut the site down and open up a lounge type site cause I am better at hosting, install, setting up sites fIxing problems and support issues.. I am not so good with gfx not as good as I want to be or as good as I thought I could be.. But I mean I have been building sites installing mods fixing problems for almost 3 years now might be a better route for me you think?
