Re-installing 3.6.8

I tried installing the 3.7 beta version and I got it up, but there are some parts of it that aren't working. I want to go back to the stable 3.6.8 version. Do I neeed to completely re-install VBulletin to do this?

And if I do a complete re-install, will I lose my members and the threads that have already been created?

You may put 3.6.8 back up by using your backup of the database you made prior to the upgrade. You may not use the upgraded 3.7 database.
