Reset you password via "forgot password" link on your site.
or
Upload tools.php into your admincp folder, run it from a browser and enter your customer number, use the option to reset your admin password.

or on your host control panel go into the phpmyadmin and choose your forum database and find the catagory user's and then chose browse and look for your user the password can be changed there.
i can do this for you if you wish me to but that is only if you want me to.
hope this help's.

There is no need to do anything manually in the database, and you should always try to avoid manual editing in the database.

if he is finding it hard to use the tools.php i would suggest doing it this way serveral times ive done it and ive had no trouble at all with it
another option would be to make another user (if possible) in phpmyadmin choose the foru database and select the user click browse and change the user's rank/perms. also another way on your file manager find the file called config.php (whatever folder your forum root is/includes/(find config.php in this folder) and the new user id that you have just made if you get the user's id number find inside the config file the super administrator's part and enter the number with a "," after the number that is already thier (e.g.1,2). then refresh and you should be admin once again then just change your passwor on the other account (preferbly something u remeber) and then your rolline but i would suggest deleting the user id keep that password written down (off of you computer try a peice of paper !) just incase this happens once again.
Hope it helps

Based on years of experience in creating vBulletin modifications, providing official jelsoft support for vBulletin and running many vBulletin sites, i still advise not to do any manual database editing unless there is no other solution.
Ofcourse everyone is free to listen to the advice of those members they think are providing a good answer.

Just register another user account and use tools.php to make it an admin. Perfectly simple.

You are free to give any advice you think is appropriate. I have the right to post my (professional) opinion on your advice. If I think someone is giving bad advice or not the best advice, then I will inform the user on that.
