Calender Event To Post A Thread

Is there a hack that works with 3.6.8 that when you have an event on a certain date it will create a thread in a certain section you want?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is Event Forums, but it maps all events from one calender to one forum, so I'm not certain what you're looking for
