Whats Going on Box

Basically I was wondering whether a hack could be made to change the way the whats going on box works.

Basically at the moment with a default box, it shows who's online and statistics. Paul M has developed many hacks such as, who has visited, who has posted... etc
Is it possible to create a menu system such as like in the new vb 3.7 member profiles, that could tab with ajax between the various hacks, so as to save space and reduce clutter on a page?
maybe even have it set to change between every 5 seconds...

I think it could be done but I am no expert on hacks, so any ideas?

Yes, I can tell you right now that it can be done. But probably not without edits to the modifications included in different "tabs". Maybe you could try posting in the modification request forum.

Probably the big question for me is, would it need actual code changes or could it all be done via templates...

There would be actual code changes, otherwise the AJAX would have nothing to connect to! :) Or maybe just have everything load, but hide them. That would involve templates only (and probably be better too).
