I ask because i think it's a crap.

personally, transforming a static collumned profile into a fake of MySpace/Facebook is the worst choice Jelsoft could have made... UNTIL someone shows me the opposite.

i'll have to redesign the template entirely to fit my styles... i usually use Wordpress CSS onver vBulletin, and it usually work instantly, because the CSS are not compromised.. but now, the new profile is just breaking everything, because of the dedicated elements and the new css for that page only.

Who is able to provide solutions or examples of transformations ?!... i will provide mine later today when i fix some other details.

btw, i switched their tabs system for jQuery which is already managing my wordpress News display... i prefer jQuery because it is not requesting to add any javascript code in the html... none. it is CSS driven, so you just have to give your html the proper classes or ids and tada... a lot less complicated when you know how to handle CSS!

Well, some crap makes others drool.
I am very content with the jump from the basic profile of vb 3.6 and below to a more rich profile of 3.7. It indeed needs some more development and completion but all in all, I like it.

Personally, I like the profiles. I think it's a good starting point and expect more advancements/changes to occur in the future.

As for templating, that's what I do anyway so I don't see it as a burden.

The only 'playing' I have done with them is to add a couple of tabs for some stuff specific to my site. I found a tutorial to tell me the steps, so once I got that working, I just modded the tabs a bit more to my liking. I might try rearranging some of the stuff later on, but probably not until after I put it on my live site and know 3.7 is working OK there.

I've been playing with it . I'm not sure weather to upgrade my board from 3.6 to 3.7 yet.

I didn't like the tab system very much.
