Styles & Templates > Style Manager >
Next to the style you are editing click <<>> to expand templates
Forum Display Templates > FORUMDISPLAY
Add the code after this
$stylevar[htmldoctype]
<html dir="$stylevar[textdirection]" lang="$stylevar[languagecode]">
<head>
$headinclude
<title>$foruminfo[title_clean]<if condition="$pagenumber>1"> - <phrase 1="$pagenumber">$vbphrase[page_x]</phrase></if> - $vboptions</title>
<if condition="$show['inlinemod']"><script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/vbulletin_inlinemod.js?v=$vboptions[simpleversion]"></script></if>
</head>
<body>
$header
$navbar

Ahh, ok, I figured out that it goes on the FORUMDISPLAY template.
EDIT: Thanks misuse, I think we posted at the same time, lol
I know I change the Title to my own, but can anyone tell me how to make the column names into working links?
I tried with the url tags but it just showed up as text including the tag and nothing was clickable.

Using the "view source" on the Sims 2 Community Forums:
http://forums.sims2community.com/?styleid=2
The actual code appears to be:
<!-- / NAVBAR POPUP MENUS -->
<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%" align="center">
<tr>
<td width="25%" style="padding-right: 4px" valign="top">
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<thead>
<tr>
<td class="tcat" style="padding: 6px">Latest Featured Contest</td>
</thead>
<tbody style="">
<tr>
<td class="alt2" style="padding: 6px">
<strong><a href='/showthread.php?t=51383'>The Ultimate Maxis Sim Makeover - Strangetown Edition-Winner Announced</a></strong><br /><em>by TLAWBLIQUE360</em>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</td>
<td width="25%" style="padding-right: 4px" valign="top">
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<thead>
<tr>
<td class="tcat" style="padding: 6px">Featured Story</td>
</thead>
<tbody style="">
<tr>
<td class="alt2" style="padding: 6px">
<strong><a href='/showthread.php?t=8337'>I love Llama</a></strong><br /><em>by Elyssa</em>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</td>
<!--
<td width="25%" style="padding-right: 4px" valign="top">
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<thead>
<tr>
<td class="tcat" style="padding: 6px"></td>
</thead>
<tbody style="">
<tr>
<td class="alt2" style="padding: 6px">
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</td>
-->
<td width="25%" valign="top">
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<thead>
<tr>
<td class="tcat" style="padding: 6px">Featured Movie</td>
</thead>
<tbody style="">
<tr>
<td class="alt2" style="padding: 6px">
<strong><a href='/showthread.php?t=27741'>Sim Remake of Papa Roach's "Between Angels and Insects"</a></strong><br /><em>by FireAzor</em>
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<br />
It would appear that they have a Mod or Plug-in which lets them designate the "Featured Contest", "Featured Story," and Featured Movie. If you click any of those Links, you will see that they have additional boxes above the designated content which say:
"This is a featured thread! It showcases the best talent on Sims 2 Community. "
The code of that addition, which appears to be in the showthread template, as seen in view source is:
<!-- / NAVBAR POPUP MENUS -->
<center>
<p align="center" style="width:75%; padding: 4px; border: 1px solid black; background:light blue; font-weight:bold; text-align:center">
This is a featured thread! It showcases the best talent on Sims 2 Community.
</p>
</center>
I did a search here using "featured thread" and found several Threads which describe modifications to install such a capacity. I haven't taken the time to try to determine which one they might be using, or whether or not it is a private, homegrown version. They are running a fairly old version of the software. Their Homepage indicates v 3.0.7.
Looking at the code which makes the listing of each of the "Featured" items a link is an
<strong><a href='/showthread.php?t=XXXX'>Title of Thread</a></strong><br /><em>username</em>
[EDIT] Taking a quick look at the various "Featured Thread" Hacks, it might well be: "AJAX Feature / Unfeature Thread Hack", which is listed for the software version that Site is running. It puts a button in the Thread View to Feature or UnFeature a Thread. The last Post, from 1/23/08, reports it is not working in 3.6.8!
