PM Spamming Options

I have been getting a lot of new members abusing or spamming via PM.

I am guessing some of this may be from bots, so I am looking for a way to prevent the sending of PMs until they reach 10 posts.

What is the best way to do this?

Create a new usergroup. Setup a promotion to the new usergroup after 10 posts. Disallow using PM for the "register users" usergroup.

ok, I have done this.

However, is there a way of limiting a usergroup to be able to only send X pms per day?
