Hello there. i have a question..
i am working on a forum. and i?am thinking about removing the navbar completely.
but first off all i want to remove the profile info from the navbar and put it in the header instead. i have a headerlogo that strecthes from ear to ear of the forum, and want to have the profile info that sits in the navbar at the right corner..
is this possible ? and how do i do it ?
thanks in advance.

Because this is a Q&A forum maybe next time if you could post the answer. That way other members who run into the same problem will have a solution. Members helping other members. :)

it was quite easy. atleast the way i did it.
instead of using a picture for the header i used a backround..
then the skin i am using have a lots of layers in the header so i made a new layer made a 1 row 1 column table that aligned to the right of the layer.. then i put the logincode from the navarbartemplate , the only thing i forgott was to also attach the infocode from the navbar template som after you have logged in you see the info..
but if you are looking for the logincode it is this one and it is located in the navbar telmplate
<!-- login form -->
<form action="login.php?do=login" method="post" onsubmit="md5hash(vb_login_password, vb_login_md5password, vb_login_md5password_utf, $show[nopasswordempty])">
<script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/vbulletin_md5.js?v=$vboptions[simpleversion]"></script>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="$stylevar[formspacer]" border="0">
<tr>
<td class="smallfont"><label for="navbar_username">$vbphrase[username]</label></td>
<td><input type="text" class="bginput" style="font-size: 11px" name="vb_login_username" id="navbar_username" size="10" accesskey="u" tabindex="101" value="$vbphrase[username]" onfocus="if (this.value == '$vbphrase[username]') this.value = '';" /></td>
<td class="smallfont" colspan="2" nowrap="nowrap"><label for="cb_cookieuser_navbar"><input type="checkbox" name="cookieuser" value="1" tabindex="103" id="cb_cookieuser_navbar" accesskey="c" />$vbphrase[remember_me]</label></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="smallfont"><label for="navbar_password">$vbphrase[password]</label></td>
<td><input type="password" class="bginput" style="font-size: 11px" name="vb_login_password" id="navbar_password" size="10" tabindex="102" /></td>
<td><input type="submit" class="button" value="$vbphrase[log_in]" tabindex="104" title="$vbphrase[enter_username_to_login_or_register]" accesskey="s" /></td>
</tr>
</table>
<input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]" />
<input type="hidden" name="do" value="login" />
<input type="hidden" name="vb_login_md5password" />
<input type="hidden" name="vb_login_md5password_utf" />
</form>
<!-- / login form -->
by using this code you can acctualy put the login form anywhere you want on the page.. i have only tested in the header and the footer ..
