Is it possible to install a style that is out of date?

Hi,
I just upgraded to vBulletin version 3.6.8, and the style I want to install was made in 3.6.4. vBulletin won't allow me to upload/install the XML for the style, because it is outdated. I was curious how -- or if -- it's possible to bypass this?

Check the ignore style version box.
