I currently own and administer CycloneFanatic.com and was wondering what others have done in the past to determine their site's value? I currently have over 2.25 million page views per month, 5,500 members and around 350,000 posts and we get bigger every day. What is the best method to determine the value of a site/forum?
Thanks
Jeremy

Does the site create revenue, if so how much? Has the revenue increased steadily month to month? Been the same or declined? How many unique IP's visit the site?
Theres many factors that can go into it, but judging by those stats there, you should be able to pull in a couple grand rather easy, if you make any amount of revenue either thru advertisements, or subscriptions then of course you'll get more.
But mostly it all comes down to whatever someone wants to pay for it. Depending on the demographic of the site you may or may not have a hard time finding a suitable buyer

Thank you for the feedback. It's obviously a somewhat new era of business and it's much harder, at least for me, to value something that isn't a physical item.
Thanks again!
