Is there something that i can add that will take the ip address from who's online and look it up and tell me where they are from, like city and state?

There is a mod that does this and more for registering members that is helpful. Besides looking up the IP, you can do various Google searches. The mod is on this site- I don't recall the name off the top of my head.
