Hey guys, I was recently at a vb site and I noticed that to access their forums its something like this:

http://www.url.com/forums/fanclubs/

And a post looks like this:

http://www.url.com/forums/fanclubs/75643-join-slinky-fan-club.html
http://www.url.com/forums/strategies-guides/87374-possible-make-private-server.html

I am guessing the number is the ID or something. I am trying to figure out how its getting done but I have absolutely no idea. Was wondering if anyone knew how to do this? Thanks.

They are probably using vBSEO, cause that's how their URL's are rewritten.

I see. Hmm, anyone else have any other explanation? I mean, vBSEO cost a lot of money, more than I can throw down ATM.

I think VBSEO is your safest option. I was hesitant but Im glad I purchased it.
