When someone clicks a link, I'd like to add them as a moderator to a specific forum for a limited time (like 15 minutes) for a demo I want to setup. The link part and where to have the code, and probably even the moderator add/remove part, I have that down. My problem is the timing though, how would I set that up? Is cron my only option?
