How to add an extra field in postbit ?

Hi, I run a motorcycle forum and would like to add an extra field under the user name / title in the postbit (shown in image). Can anyone advise me on how to do that please ?

Thanks both for the replies, as it happens I tried several searches on here but every time I got a 'less than 3 words' error, that was despite using more than just 3 words !

It's not exactually what you need but it's as close as I think you will get. You can just edit a little and it will work.

It will add an image you specify to wherever you put the code. So upload the image you want, change the code to match the location of the image file, and then put the whole code wherever you want it to show up in postbit.

I was looking to add an extra profile (not an image) field which would show in the postbit, I'm using 3.6.8 and have managed to add an extra profile field which shows in the profile only. The link you posted for me is for vb3.0 si I'm not sure that will work for me ?

in postbit or postbit_legacy add $post['field5'] where you want Current Motorcycle to show up
