Hi!
When checking vBulletin.org for mods i found a very good mod that adds a socialnetworking profile system to the forum. A very cool mod!
The problem is this mod is branded and included into a biggger company called zoints.com
I don't want to be included in their community with my forum. So now i am looking for a mod that does the same, just unbranded and as a stand alone version. Doesn't has to be free of charge. But it needs to be independent.
Does something like this exist? Is anyone working on something like that?

You mean version 3.7?
I heard the new version still has a lot of bugs and isn't working. Do oyu think i should upgrade now, or better wait a little more?

I am running several of my forums on 3.7 with no problems. It is your decision....but if it had "A LOT OF BUGS AND WASN'T WORKING" than vB wouldn't have released it.

vb.com will tell you to wait.. but im using it live and its working flawlessly... if you do a search i think there is a thread about whos using 3.7 on thier live boards and might be more feedback from others in there.
things to think about.. if your using a custom skin it will be more work and if your using vbadvanced i believe that needs to be upgrated.
you will also have to check hacks but i think most 3.6 hacks are working.
and lastly i would plan on upgrading alot as 3.7 goes through stages and bug fixes to go gold.

I've noticed a couple little things on my 3.7 install, such as editing replacement variables in the style manager, and some other stupid little things.
Other then that, it works great and you'll probably never notice anyway

Yes i have 3.7 on 1 of my sites now and its fine. if you run a custom template though you may need to go to a 3.7 compatible version to get the effect.

Intrested in 3.7 my self but thinking that I mite as well wait for the next 1/2 months until I see how its going and by then alot of bugs will be fixed as no system is ever perfect when it is under BETA hence the name.
I would suggest that you wait a while even wait till its out but other people may have diffrent options :) thats just mine
