disable "reply" for certain forums

Is their a way to disable the "reply" option just in certain forums?? I still want to be able to create threads in these specific forums but i just want to take away the option to reply to that first post......

any help is appreciated. thanks.

Admin CP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager > find the forum you wish to disable reply to > hit Edit next to the usergroup you wish to disable it for > Can Reply to Own Threads (No) and Can Reply to Others' Threads (No)
