I love iCash and the iShop from 3.6, but there was a bug in the points system where users were able to donate more points then they actually had to other users giving the other users unlimited points and leaving themselves in the negatives.

I hope you plan to fix any other bugs and port over the iShop once vB 3.7 goes gold. I love this mod and would like to switch back to it from vBCredits :).

yeah, an easy way to do it is to disable your vbcredits mod, (dont uninstall) then find what money row it was using and paste that into the icash settings

I don' t think this is implemented yet. Will it be difficult to do this on my own? I was hoping that you just need to copy some code into the relevant files.

I think this does not have allowances, too - meaning users get a certain amount of points each week or month. They can use the points on things you charge them (like the private messages). It would be great if you can give different amounts to different user groups and if you can decide if a user group will keep unused points or if their points will be reset to the monthly allowances amount.

Could be since the new vBulletin update, until RC3 all was working fine, also in 3.6.9 except for the bug that cash get's deleted when a thread is deleted.
You could try vbcredits instead, that works on 3.7 rc4.

Well it is stated often enough in this thread. It happens when a thread/post get's deleted.
So either don't delete anything, or remove/stop the destraction of points when removing threads/points.
And sorry, no I don't know how this is done, it's mentioned in this thread somewhere too.:)

You've seen the new version? As far as I know, you can setup yourself if it has to go into negatives or not. But for some it has too many options.

Icash is very nice and easy, so is Ibank and Ishop. I hope we will hear from Blain soon.

Yes, it should be in your forums section in the ACP on the bottom of each forum you can setup how much a user gets for posting. There is a globel option too in the Icash setting if I'm not mistaken, but I'm not sure anymore because it's some time ago I had it installed.:)

WORKAROUND TO THE DELETE BUG:

I encountered the same delete bug as most other people have encountered. I have got a workaround that works and i would like to share with the community.
Disable this option from the ICASH options in the vbulletin control panel:
"negate points during deletion of thread".

This way the points will not be automatically deducted whenever any thread is deleted and that bug does not occurs. The only drawback to this is tht you will have to manually deduct the icash for that user whose thread is being deleted.

The normal postbit works correctly the ATCS, but for postbit_legacy I don't know.. not use this and not have time to testing.. sorry.

For ATCS for me not works the link into Navbar.. tomorrow check the motivation for not work.

User name with space can not get points. Point raised by two members already. Forgive me but this is a serious error and my users are angry over it.

Solution to Problem
Spaces in User Name

Goto Plugins & Products>Plugin Manager>Plugin System>ICash>ICash Postbit Edit>Edit

Find '?' . $session[sessionurl] . 'do=donate&to=' . $post[username] . '> Donate </a>';
}

Replace with
'?' . $session[sessionurl] . 'do=donate&to=' . urlencode( $post[username]) . '> Donate </a>';
}

Save the File and you are ready to go.

Note:- We have used urlencode to correctly encode string. This would convert space to URL equivalent values and PHP string joining routine would handle it correctly.

Please Do it at your own risk. I do not work in insurance company:)

ok, this is the most BLATANT error...
MySQL Error : Duplicate column name 'money'

This fix will make your forum go down, so dw if it does.
What you need to do, is go to any other product Blaine has made, and find where it asks for the coloumn your points are contained in.
Its default is "Money", now change that rows name to "money1" without the quotes.

Go to your cpanel, go to your phpmyadmin, go to the database your vbulletin information is in, go to your user table, find the column named "money" and click the little pencil icon, then change its name to "money1" without the quotes.

Ok, now your forum should be back up and running.. install icash and it should all be good.
If you want, go back to the mods options where you changed the original "money" and change "money1" back to "money", and go back to your SQL and delete the row "money1".

That should make both mods use the same row.

Reason: When a thread or post is deleted, all cash/points get reset.

Goes same with other add-on like Hide Reply system..we used to have free one but PAY add-on create similar with it...The free one totally not able to use and not updated at all .

Hi got one small issue I have a member named L'Raine and she can earn points but when someone tries to donate we get a database error with the username having the ' in it, see error below

Invalid SQL:
update frmuser set vbookie_cash = vbookie_cash + '500' where username = 'l'raine';

you can see the ' is causing a problem, this happened when I tried donating manually from admincp

Also the error from when a user donated

Go To Your Admin Panel Then Go To The ICash Option.And Disable This Option Points "negated when deleted." And Ur ICash Working Cool.Actuly Here Is The But When U Delet Ur Post Or Other Users Post All Points Will Be Reset Automaticaly.

Does this calculate points based on all past activity, or only from the date it is insalled? (Or can we specify a date to start counting from?)
