Did a search and looked through the results but found nothing that corresponds to my problem.

I installed PM hack 1.2.5 to my boards 1.1.5. All was cool and working like a charm.

Last night, I opened a few boards where only certain people could post. I did this by creating a new user group that had the permissions to post on these boards while removing the permission to post on this board for all who are 'Registered'.

Now... for some reason... the people who have the new title that is [/u]not[/u] 'Registered' cannot send private messages.

Any ideas how to fix this?

well, under Control Panel -> User groups and permissions -> Modify -> [user group name] -> edit .... you can specify if that user group can use the private messaging features. Try that.
