As you know, the profiles look like junk in customised styles, but I have found out the very simple reason that is and how it can be fixed. If you want your profiles usable in the custom styles for your board, follow these steps:

Go to Styles and Templates and then Style Manager
Now go to the Additional CSS Definitions
Take out your custom code, and keep it somewhere safe for now.
Click the box to revert this CSS
Save the changes
Now, go back and add in your custom CSS underneath. You should realise that the box content has changed a bit. This then makes your profiles work perfectly well on custom styles. And if you backed up the custom stuff, it should also keep your CSS changes you added to the styles. vBulletin, when you upgraded just forgot to ask you to revert this and hence killed custom styles accidentally. This simply fixes it.

It adds the extra CSS variables, but somehow i can't make the tabs work on my custom styles. :(

you have to compare your edits with the new version, maybe you miss the inserts in the headinclude to add the proper javascripts

Oh, i did compare, i inserted the new CSS links to my header, and reverted the Main CSS... before that, everything looked odd, now it has the correct style, but no tabbed menu in the member profile.

It is working on the default style, but not in the one i'm trying to update.

No idea what i missed. Thanks!

OK guys, don't forget to reset headinclude, my style never told me to revert, but i did and now it is working fine. :D
