Small Graphic/Icon next to user name

I am trying to put a little graphic or icon next to a user name in the post bit and the who's online section.

How do I go about doing that? They would be members of a usergroup who would have this added.

Not sure why but it doesn't seem to be working at all when I do that HTML mark-up. How should I put it in the fields?

What are you putting in the boxes?

in the second HTML markup box for any usergroup, add an ordinary image path
<img src="images/your_icon.gif">, and you should be good to go.
It will display your icon in postbit(legacy) and memberinfo as well.

is there anyway to do this so the picture is under the info in postbit? like under join date and post counts?
