Anonymous poster

What i am after is in 1 section of the site for members to post under there registered account, but for it to display as "Anonymous" or something similar.

But i want it to allow admin to be able to see the real member name, but publicly to other members it shows a set name.

Optional would be the option for members to turn this off, if they dont care to be kept anonymous

You could use a combo of zoints anonymous posting and this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=117966

It will tell you other users under the same IP address which would result in the same member.

Or you could just mod the zoints plugin.

What I would love to see is something like the Zoints mod listed above only instead of having the post appear to be posted by the user I select in the ACP, have it still attached to the user who posted it, but it says "anonymous" and all the linking to the profile is turned off.

Or have another custom field in the UserCP, so the user can put in the name he wants to post anonymous under and have that name appear instead of his/her username. Maybe even have a way for it to not allow for anybody else to use that anonymous name as long as it is in use.

Can this be done?
