Why can't I get the header and adsense lined up right? I want the search box and ad on the right side of the header on the same line.

here is how I have it in the adv_portal box:

Ok again I want the adsense ad bar above the google search bar on the right side with no space between the table border and search bar. If that makes any sense.
Also I want my header to the forum to stay on the same side, but down at the same level as the search bar with no space. Urgh I am sorry. I hope this help explain it.
