Copying files to make testvb

Hi there,

I'm kind of new to the whole SSH thing

How would I copy my forums files from /forums to /testvb?

I think I know how to copy the database, just not the files.

I've tried just downloading them through FTP but it keeps disconnecting when I try to download them.

Not with all my modifications installed + template edits, etc... I want to run a test upgrade to vB 3.7 to see what mods end up not working.
