I remember there was a great mod with lots of potential called vbTube that eventually was sent to the graveyard because of a security flaw (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=160150&highlight=vbtube).
I see a new site has popped up where it's a paid modification but I am worried it still might have the issues. Anyone have any insight on this? Or....does anyone know how to apply the fix that is suggested at this site:

Input passed to the parameter "search" in vBTube.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1 beta. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Filter malicious characters or character sequences using a proxy.
