Uploading a new style

Before I make a screw up of it trying myself, can someone tell me how I upload a new style? I've downloaded and extracted the files of the style I want to use (just to my local computer), how do i now install them on my forum?

Normally the images for the style go into your /images directory. Just take the entire images folder that the style provides you and upload it to that directory.

Then go to AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Download/Upload Styles and then import the xml file.

please don't install any skin or style to your fourm if you are not sure very safely. becasue i just lost all file becasue install the style download from somewhere. and the hacker get in the admin change anything he want. and i still don't know what can i do now?
