How to make vB styles?

Hello all! I searched and could (oddly) not find any information on this...

I am interested in learning how to create a theme for our site, but don't know where to find tutorials/how-to's on the subject. I am good at Photoshop and think I could be decent at this if I knew how.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of any/all tutorials/how-to's/F.A.Q.'s/etc. on vB style making?
