About the infraction system

I wonder does anyone have the same problem..
If you give an infraction to a member.. and that infraction will ban the user... then later you reverse that infraction.. the user will remain banned... Anyone knows how to fix this?? I do have the $cronimage in the footer on my website...

the cron has to run. Its not instant.
