Usually the mysql errors are sent to your email. Are you getting them? You should post what the error is from that email so we can help you.

Check your config.php to see if the MySQL user and password are correct.

Well when I went into the forum root, there was no config.php file
I went into the cpanel as well, and it says there are no databases associated with your account.
Is that why?

config.php located in include folder.
use any FTP client and go in include / config.php and check your database user name and password and be sure details are correct.

Did you even have the site working before this happened?
Well your db just wouldnt vanish, do you have root access to the server?
Have you contacted your host and asked for a backup, i assume the server has nightly backups, they should be able to provide you with a backup db from last night at least.

I fired one of my staff members and he had cpanel access so he deleted it.
I have found a copy of the database I had so I just want to restore it now.
I have changed the details but still get this error:
Database error in vBulletin :
mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Access denied for user 'disneyma_mdc '@'localhost' (using password: YES)
/home/disneyma/public_html/vbulletin/includes/class_core.php on line 274

Did you also create a MySQL user with the same details as you have in your config.php?

Yes
I made the user and assigned it to the database

I suggest that in future reference, you change password to cPANEL if you fire any staff.
You have AIM/MSN?
