What kind of mod would you guys suggest to make this forum section unique?

This specific forum section belongs to a staff member of mine, and every thread he includes pictures. Basically, it's a WORKLOG of his projects. What can I do to make it look cool and easier for him?

Any mod out there you guys recommend?

Either VBulletin Project Manager (free modification, search here)

or some blog system.

Even Drupal integrated with VB would work as well.
