Moderator Access to User Admin

Is it possible to give a moderator or group of moderators access to admin users?

I want to be able to set up the ability to assign certain folks to be able to:

Search users - using the Admin Search User interface
Modify User - whether that's resetting the password, sending activation codes, changing the group of a user, banning a user, deleting an account, etc etc etc...


But I only want the assigned people to have that specific access, nothing else that an Admin can access.

Any help would be appreciated. I have really got to find a way to do this.

The main way I can think of...

Set them in "Administrator" user group, or create a group with admin permissions, then when you save, click on "Edit Permissions" which shows on the next page. This will then allow you to select Yes / No radio buttons to what parts of the CPanel they can access.

You will have to give them access to the AdminCP it would be best to put them in and adminstrator usergroup and then limit their permissions to User administration only.
