View Full Version : PNG transparency problems... Or is it IE?

Well I got a new icon set and it looks great... in firefox.

The icons are all PNG's and they are transparent and fine in firefox, but look really bad with the white background in internet explorer.

Internet explorer has trouble viewing transparent images. I know someone posted a hack that fixes the border problem. I think the authors name is steve_m but it's work looking or try using other methods to ensure they look fully transparent and/or blend in to the background colour they are being applied onto.

I only wish everyone used firefox ;-(

Hardest part about creating a site is trying to satisfy all web browsers.

This hack fixed the problem and was incredibly easy to install
