Password-protect a single specific forum??

I'm trying to password protect a single forum section. I specified a password in the Edit Forum page for the forum in the admin panel, and it says the forum has been updated when I click SAVE, but the forum still does not ask for a password.

Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong? I'm relatively decent at achieving things through the admin panel, but this seemingly simple task just isn't working.

The description of this "General vBulletin Discussions" forum states, "General modification & vBulletin discussions. eg. "How do I do this in vBulletin?", "Can this product do this?", "What does this feature do?", etc "

So how is his question out of line?

Did you test this as admin or as a regular member?
