Remove post count

I was looking for a mod that removes the post count via admin panel not per user however post counts can be viewed by the admin, mod & super mods only and I do have ranks so post counts would still be there just not visable to regular users. There was this mod :

But I am using version 3.6.8 PL2. Is there a mod or can one be whipped up? I don't mind either if it is just a template edit as I only use one style.

A friendly bump is there anyone willing to do this or is it really too difficult or can't be done?
